Meet the Doctors
Dr. Galina Borodyansky received her bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Washington and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. She enjoys teaching, and has served as clinical faculty at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. She is also a member of Frank Spear Club, and has been awarded Seattle Met Top Dentist, and America’s Top Dentist Award. Dr. Galina is a member of the Washington State Dental Association and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.


After earning Honors in Cell and Molecular Biology from University of Washington, Sofia D. Petrov continued on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr Petrov further enriched her professional career by successfully completing her post-graduate training in Periodontics and earning her Masters of Science in Dentistry from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. A Diplomate of American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Petrov is not only a practicing periodontist and dental implant surgeon, but she is actively involved in teaching and research as well. For her outstanding performance she was chosen to present twice at the annual meetings of American Academy of Periodontology in 2011 in Miami, FL and 2013 in Philadelphia, PA.
She believes that in order to provide the best care for her patients, interdisciplinary approach to treatment planning is the key. With that said, in treating her patients, Dr. Petrov always remembers that “People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care” (John C. Maxwell) – an ideal instilled in her by an inspiring professor.
Dr Petrov and her husband, Alex, reside in Woodinville, Wa with their sons, Oscar and Henry, and daughter, Sarah. In her free time she practices yoga to achieve more harmony in her life and to radiate it to others.
